This website

The site targets WCAG 2.2 AA. Specifically:

• Every page can be operated by keyboard alone, with a skip link as the first stop and a visible focus ring on every interactive element, including over video.
• The home page's scroll flight respects prefers-reduced-motion. When that is set, no video is loaded at all and the journey becomes a still sequence with identical wording.
• Every scene image carries descriptive alt text. Decorative images are marked as such so screen readers skip them rather than announcing filenames.
• The mobile menu is a native <dialog>, so focus containment, Escape to close and background inertness come from the browser rather than a script that might fail.
• Headings run in order, form fields all have real labels, and errors are announced politely rather than only shown in colour.
• No information is conveyed by hover alone, and nothing essential depends on colour alone.

Known limits

The scroll flight is inherently visual. It is decorative by design: everything it communicates is also written in the text beside it, and the rest of the site works entirely without it. On very slow connections the first clip may take a few seconds, during which a still image is shown rather than a blank space.

At the resort

Zavana describes four step-free suites with roll-in showers, grab rails and wide doorways, ramped beach access, a floating beach chair, and step-free routes between all public areas. (As a fictional property, these are illustrative of what a resort site should state plainly.)
